Ribfest is an annual fundraising event for the kids who attend the Blooming Prairie Youth Club www.bpyouthclub.com Please consider being part of this fun day. Bring the family! We also have spots available for our kids hamburger cook off. WE PROVIDE ALL THE MEAT FOR THE COMPETITION!

We would like to extend a special invitation to cook and compete for Best Ribs, Best Sauce, People’s Choice Ribs and Best Mystery Meat. Judging will take place again this year by impartial judges, trained by a certified KCBS judge, with a 100% CASH PAYOUT to the winners and trophy awards for 1st Place in all categories.

Mystery Meat

All cooks are welcome to arrive Saturday as early as 6am for meat selection and set up. Pork ribs and Mystery Meat will be provided for all contestants. All cooks will be asked to prepare a minimum of 9 racks of ribs. Bring a garnish for presentation to the judges. Bring your own roasting pans, paper towels and tinfoil. We will provide containers for serving to judges and serving boats, wet naps and napkins for public serving. When ribs run out, direct the public inside for a dinner plate of pulled pork and all the sides. You are also welcome to have a dinner plate, too!
