On June 2, 2018 the Le Center Post 108 Sons of the American Legion (SAL) and the Le Center Sportsmen’s Club will be holding their second annual community wide BBQ cook off. More than 20 teams are expected to participate as competitors, while more than 200 will enjoy a meal, live music and drawings for prizes. Funds from this event will be used to support youth activities sponsored by each organization and to help our local veterans and families. In the past, these activities have included expanding sports opportunities, youth leadership, educational projects, along with volunteering time and funds to Veterans and community members of need.
Providing the opportunities listed above often requires the listed organizations to ask for support from individuals and businesses. Your support of the SAL and Le Center area veterans would be greatly appreciated. It is our hope that you will support our BBQ cook off through a donation of your choosing. Doing so would greatly improve our raffle sales and participation, as many people in our area are already familiar with your excellent reputation.
The Post 108 Sons of the American Legion and Le Sueur County Sportsmen’s Club will honor your donation by identifying and announcing yourself as a supporter of the day’s activities and acknowledge your participation at its dinner.
